Kenneth J. Cook, President and CEO of Milwaukee-based Ken Cook Co., has received the American Boat & Yacht Council's distinguished Horizon Award. ABYC President and CEO Skip Burdon made the presentation at the association's Annual Meeting during the 2008 Miami International Boat Show.

The Horizon Award is presented to a member or supporter who has made significant contributions to the success and growth of ABYC. Burdon said, "In addition to Ken Cook's regular contributions to ABYC and the ABYC Foundation, Ken and his company have provided funding to support many ABYC projects. He is truly a giving person who has made major contributions to ABYC and our industry."
